ABOUT THE BLOG
We're two sisters with Celiac Disease who believe that everybody should be able to travel the world and enjoy life, regardless of whether or not they can eat gluten. Ever since we were diagnosed in 2013, we've been constantly learning more about how to live and travel gluten free (without breaking the bank). We love to share our recommendations and tips with others and hope that we can inspire others to go on more gluten free adventures!
And a little about us...
Hannah refuses to let Celiac Disease get in the way of her two main hobbies: eating and traveling. Much of her life is spent on the hunt for good gluten free pizza (and gluten free macaroni and cheese, and carbonara, and bagels...). She makes a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies and will never turn down something sweet. Always planning her next trip (Prague in February!). Hobbies include looking for cheap flights to London, trying all of the GF Halo Top flavors (has anyone found Pistachio yet?), and strategizing on how to get enough time off of work to finally go to Thailand.
Julia remains eternally thankful that wine and cheese are both gluten free. She's not much of a cook, so she's always on the lookout for new restaurants with great gluten free options. (Boston is full of them, thank goodness!) Dreams of exploring more of Europe one day and also can't wait to see more of the U.S.: Austin, TX, Charleston, SC, and California are just a few of the places on her list. Speaks some French, but not that well. Enjoys curling up with a good book, drinking too much coffee, and indulging in good gluten free desserts, especially creme brulee and anything chocolate.
